A new industry trade group in Georgia to strengthen the magazine industry by offering professional services to publishers, managers and editors.

Who is eligible?

MAG welcomes individuals and companies interested in the Georgia magazine industry regardless of what state or country they may live and work. Membership categories:

-Publisher Member (For individuals and publishing companies who produce a periodical that meets the following requirements):

1. Published at least three times a year and no more than 52 times a year. Magazines published less frequently will be approved at the discretion of the board.

2. Published in Georgia

3. Magazine has an average minimum editorial content of 25% (non-advertising).

Annual Dues: $300   /  Additional titles: $150 each

-Associate Member

This membership is for companies who supply magazine products and services or who have relationships with magazine publishers. All members must present a reputation of quality, integrity and reliability.

Annual Dues: $1,500

Membership dues include a sponsorship of the GPA annual conference and convention. Sponsors will receive 1 registration at the conference, 1 exhibit table, and a 1/2-page ad in the conference program.

-Affiliate Member

This membership is for students, advertising agencies, public relations agencies and faculty members, and for individuals and companies whose publications do not qualify for regular membership, such as magazines published out of state. Affiliate members enjoy all privileges of membership except for voting and some magazine contest restrictions.
